Jesse S. Martin is an LA based Actor, Writer, Comic, and Producer hailing from Maryland, whose endeavors focus on pushing culture through long and short form content.

Jesse is an Actor, Comedian, Writer, and Producer with credits ranging from comedy to drama on multiple award winning projects and film events.

He wrote the feature film Blind Currency which is being produced by Peabody Award winning and Emmy nominated Tamra Simmons. He wrote an original TV pilot, Columbia, which obtained Semi-Finalist status in the Academy Award Qualifying Rhode Island International Film Festival, Filmmatic Comedy Competition, and the Screencraft Drama competition. Jesse also co-wrote Black Theory which finished top 20 in the Viewster Film Festival. As Executive Producer, Jesse produced Payroll, a ½ hour comedy pilot starring Branden Wellington (Orange is the New Black) and co-directed by Stefon Bristol (See You Yesterday), which screenplay was a Semi-Finalist in the Big Apple Film Festival. Additionally, Jesse Executive Produced Last Call, a short film, which screened in IMDb accredited Independent Short Awards and Katra Film Series in NYC. 

Jesse has also done stand up comedy around NYC, hosting and performing at shows with the top comedians and writers from Comedy Central, Conan, the Daily Show, and more.

As an actor, Jesse is SAG-Eligible and has appeared in multiple Co-Star roles on Investigation Discovery and multiple commercial spots and advertisements from GQ to Uber Eats, and Degree for Men.
